It’s almost time for everyone to enter the Avatar state and Netflix released the final trailer for its hotly anticipated new series, Avatar: The Last Airbender with a focus on Aang in the Avatar state. Seeing a genuinely good live-action version of Avatar Aang with that iconic blue aura is a dream come true for many fans of the the franchise, and the series does not disappoint.
The trailer is also full of action and has an overall intense tone, which is a good reflection of the series as a whole. While this live-action adaptation shares the same DNA as the beloved animated series, it is slightly more mature in tone.
Finally, in full transparency, this trailer is an extra treat for me, as my quote, that the series is “a visual feast,” was included.
