Disney+ is bringing the world of Percy Jackson and the Olympians to New York City’s Empire State Building with “Olympus Awaits,” a new immersive experience celebrating the show’s third season. Running November 16th through December 4th, the special activation will transform the iconic building’s 80th Floor into the mythical Throne Room of the Greek gods, complete with interactive experiences, photo opportunities and exclusive merchandise.
Included with an admission ticket to the Empire State Building Observation Deck, “Olympus Awaits” invites fans to journey to the mythical “600th Floor” and explore a Throne Room featuring towering thrones inspired by the Greek gods. Visitors can also discover hidden references to the series and potentially receive special keepsakes, including a key to Olympus. The experience will be closed November 17th and 18th for what is likely a special event.
Additional attractions include a free “Hand of Talos” photo installation on the ground floor ticketing area, exclusive Percy Jackson merchandise on the 86th Floor and a special blue treat available for purchase at the Eataly pop-up. The Empire State Building is also scheduled to feature a special “Glow from Olympus” lighting display on November 20th to celebrate the Season 3 premiere.
