New ‘Loki’ Season 2 Featurette Announces Earlier Premiere Date

ARC 201 09981 R min

Season 2 of Loki is almost here, and today Marvel Studios revealed that it’s one day closer than we thought. Following in the footsteps of the hit Star Wars series Ahsoka, the Second season of Loki will now premiere on October 5th at 6:00 PM pacific time.

As part of the new date announcement, Marvel released a featurette that serves as a great primer for the upcoming season. The video includes quotes from Tom Hiddleston, Sophia Di Martino, newcomer Ke Huy Quan, and executive producer Kevin R. Wright.

In the featurette, Quan, with his trademark infectious enthusiasm, says that “I’ve been a fan of the Marvel Universe for a long time. I’m so grateful to be part of this amazing series.”

Wright mentions that Loki will be dealing with the consequences of the first season, and says that “Loki has always been a villain. What we want to explore is Loki also finding what heroicism really looks like.”

This is one of the most highly anticipated series of the year and I certainly can’t wait for October 5th. Check out the featurette and additional details below.
