PREVIEW – Marvel Comics ‘Shang-Chi’ #5

SHANGCHI2020005 Preview Page 1

Next week the epic Shang-Chi miniseries by Gene Luen Yang, Dike Ruan and Philip Tan comes to a conclusion with Shang-Chi #5. This book and character demands an on-going series and I hope Marvel makes an announcement on one soon.

Last issue, Shang-Chi conferred with the spirit of his uncle Zheng Yi, who helped Shang-Chi realize some of the parts of his life that he’s been in denial over. Freshly refocused, Shang-Chi, flanked by Brother Blade and Sister Dagger, look to be ready for the final confrontation against their sister, Sister Hammer.

You can find my reviews of the first four issues, as well as interviews with Gene Luen Yang and Philip Tan HERE.

Check out the action-packed (and gorgeous) preview pages below. Shang-Chi #5 releases next Wednesday at your local comic book shop!
