Pixar’s ‘Turning Red’ Original Song ‘NObody Like U’ by Billie Eilish and Finneas O’Connell Available Now

TURNING RED Collateral Bulletin 1s v9.0 mech3 FS e1645836132680

Pixar’s Turning Red, directed by Domee Shi (Bao), is a loving homage to the early 2000s in Toronto, complete with bright colors, Tamagotchi, and of course…boy bands! In the film, 4 Town is the fictional boy band that is the obsession of Mei Lee (voiced by Rosalie Chiang) and her friends.

To give authentic musical life to the band, Pixar enlisted the aid of GRAMMY® award winning singer-song writers Billie Eilish and Finneas O’Connell, who wrote three original songs for the film, including “Nobody Like U.”

4 Town is voiced by Jordan Fisher as Robaire, Finneas O’Connell as Jesse, Topher Ngo as Aaron T., Grayson Villanueva as Tae Young, and Josh Levi as Aaron Z.

Pixar’s Turning Red Music Video “Nobody Like U”

The single for the original song is available now, and Pixar has also released a special 4 Town music video for “Nobody Like U,” which is a must watch.

The full soundtrack for Turning Red, which includes an original score by legendary Oscar®-, GRAMMY-, and Emmy®-winning composer Ludwig Göransson (Black Panther), will be released on March 11th (in conjunction as the release of the film), and is now available for pre-save.

Pixar, Domee Shi and the Turning Red team leaned fully into the early 2000s look and feel for this film, and it’s so fun to see additional nuggets like this music video, which only serve to add to the nostalgic feel of the film. It certainly doesn’t hurt to have incredible superstars like Eilish and O’Connell lending their talents to the music as well.

Check out the new, perfectly pre-teen, poster for the new film as well, which emulates Mei Lee’s corkboard.

Turning Red premieres exclusively on Disney+ on March 11th so be ready to watch the film and rock out to the incredible music!

Her protective, if not slightly overbearing mother, Ming (voice of Sandra Oh), is never far from her daughter—an unfortunate reality for the teenager. And as if changes to her interests, relationships and body weren’t enough, whenever she gets too excited (which is practically ALWAYS), she “poofs” into a giant red panda. “Turning Red” is directed by Academy Award® winner Domee Shi (Pixar short “Bao”) and produced by Lindsey Collins (“Finding Dory”).
