TWC T2 0029r min

The Watchers is a creepy blend of horror and fantasy that takes place in a mysterious forest in Ireland. Directed by Ishana Night Shyamalan and produced by her father, M. Night Shyamalan, the film stars Dakota Fanning, Georgina Campbell, Oliver Finnegan and Olwen Fouéré, as a quartet trapped inside a structure that is also keeping them safe.

A new featurette released today highlights the horror and fantasy elements of the film, with commentary by Ishana Night Shyamalan, M. Night Shyamalan and Fanning. The featurette provides a more clear idea of what this film is about, as Ishana talks about the contradicting purposes of the structure, called the “coop,” and the conflicting motivations that the film’s protagonists are faced with.

Check out the featurette below. The Watchers premieres in theaters, June 5th internationally and June 7th in North America.
