Continuing Wick Week, Lionsgate released a sizzling new and final trailer for John Wick: Chapter 4. We’re just over one month away from the film’s release, and the marketing is sure to ramp up going forward.
With Nas’ Got Urself A… track bumping, the final trailer is packed with absolutely awesome action. We finally get to see a glimpse of Donnie Yen fighting, and even at age 59, he’s lightning fast. I can’t help but wonder if he has to slow down so the camera can fully capture his movements.
As someone who is a devout Donnie Yen fan, I thought that would be the highlight of the final trailer. I wasn’t prepared for the final sequence where Keanu Reeves is fighting off a group of goons in the middle of traffic. That scene is truly breathtaking and I can’t wait to see the full sequence on a massive screen. I’m not sure how, four films in, this franchise manages to continue elevating the action and still amaze fans, but this one looks like another winner.
What’s interesting is that we’re getting this trailer on Thursday of Wick Week, with one more day still to come. What could Lionsgate and the John Wick team have in store for us tomorrow? Very excited to see what’s next. The Baba Yaga is coming!
