Damian Wayne is ready to take center stage, and the Bat mantle, this holiday season. In the upcoming holiday action comedy, Bruce Wayne’s son is left home alone in Wayne Manor, and must become “Little Batman” in order to prevent supervillains from destroying the holidays.
In what looks like a super (pun intended) fun animated special, Merry Little Batman is set to stream on Prime Video on December 8th. I love that the movie features Damian, who is one of my favorite Robins, and the actual son of Bruce (and Talia al Ghul). In comics, Damian is one of the most interesting members of the Bat family, as he balances his conflicting identities of being a superhero’s son as well as the son of the leader of assassins.
The first key art for Merry Little Batman was released today, and you can see the really fun art of the film, as well as a certain Clown Prince who will undoubtedly be involved in the story.
Looking forward to this fun new take on Batman stories this holiday season! Watch Merry Little Batman on Prime Video December 8th.
