Whenever the legendary Sammo Hung is in a film, I pay attention. His latest is a futuristic martial arts throw down called Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In. Well Go USA released the new U.S. trailer for the film and it’s full of wall-to-wall action at a frenetic pace.

If the trailer is an accurate reflection of the film, get ready for an adrenaline infused martial arts thrill ride. I enjoy the stylistic fight scenes from the trailer, as well as the cool post-apocalyptic setting of a futuristic Hong Kong. And of course, Sammo Hung kicking butt is always fun to watch.

The film is directed by Sio Cheang, and stars Louis Koo, Raymond Lam, Terrance Lau, Philip Ng, Tony Wu Tsz Tung, German Cheung, Richie Jen, Wong Tak Pun Kenny, Fish Liew, Chu Pak Hong, Cecilia Choi, Lau Wai Ming, Aaron Kwok, and Sammo Hung. Wilson Yip, known for the iconic Ip Man films, serves as producer, along with John Chong, and stunts by Tanigaki Kenji.

Check out the trailer below. Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In premieres August 9th in theaters.

About Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In:

Many years after the bloody turf war that ushered in an uneasy era of peace in Hong Kong’s underworld, the notorious Kowloon Walled City serves as a fortified, lawless safe haven for gangs and refugees alike. But when a skilled underground fighter runs afoul of the most feared Triad boss in Hong Kong, a bounty is placed on his head despite his connections to the leader of the infamous enclave. As his pursuers violate the tenuous territorial truce to exact their vengeance, the fallout reignites old grudges, bringing decades of building tension to a brutal, bloody boiling point.
