Tickets are now on sale for one of the most anticipated films of 2025, The Fantastic Four: First Steps. To celebrate the start of ticket sales, Marvel released a new 75-second trailer, which highlights the family focus of the upcoming blockbuster film.
The new trailer has some new footage, including an even stronger emphasis on the overall family relationship, as well as Reed Richard’s (Pedro Pascal) and Sue Storm’s (Vanessa Kirby) baby. It’s widely assumed that the baby is Franklin Richards, Reed and Sue’s eldest child in the comics (they also have a super-genius daughter named Valeria). Recent toy reveals had shown that the baby will indeed make an appearance in the film, and this trailer confirms it with our first look at the mother, father and baby together.
As is usually the case with Marvel films, when the advance tickets go on sale, several partner posters are released in conjunction. For The Fantastic Four: First Steps, new posters were revealed from Fandango, IMAX, Dolby, 4DX, RealD 3D and ScreenX. I’m always a fan of the alternative posters, and in this case, my favorite is Fandango’s minimalist poster with a giant 4.
In addition to the partner posters, tie-in merchandise has become a major part of film promotions over the last few years. While previously there might be a nice collector’s cup and popcorn tin with some graphics, theaters have definitely upped their game in order to attract more audiences. In recent years we’ve seen epic popcorn tins for films like Dune, Barbie, and, of course, Deadpool & Wolverine. For The Fantastic Four: First Steps, the theater tie-in merch seems to be going to an entirely new level, with companies like Regal, AMC and Cinemark revealing several exciting collectible options. The crown jewel has to be the 17 inch Galactus head popcorn bucket, although Regal’s exclusive Fantasticar popcorn bucket is pretty awesome as well.
Finally, one additional unique thing that Marvel has been doing since the start of its Fantastic Four promotion, has been releasing press releases in a retro, typewriter format. It’s a small detail, but one that reflects a fun synergy and overall excitement for this film.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps releases July 25, 2025 and tickets are on sale now!

Set against the vibrant backdrop of a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world, Marvel Studios’ “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” introduces Marvel’s First Family—Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic (Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm/Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby), Johnny Storm/Human Torch (Joseph Quinn) and Ben Grimm/The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) as they face their most daunting challenge yet. Forced to balance their roles as heroes with the strength of their family bond, they must defend Earth from a ravenous space god called Galactus (Ralph Ineson) and his enigmatic Herald, Silver Surfer (Julia Garner). And if Galactus’ plan to devour the entire planet and everyone on it weren’t bad enough, it suddenly gets very personal. The action adventure also stars Paul Walter Hauser, John Malkovich, Natasha Lyonne and Sarah Niles. “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” is directed by Matt Shakman, produced by Kevin Feige and executive produced by Louis D’Esposito, Grant Curtis and Tim Lewis.
