Interviews – ‘LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild The Galaxy – Pieces of the Past’ Cast and Creative Team

LEGO and Star Wars have long been a perfect match. Between incredible sets (the original Death Star set is one of my personal prized possessions), ridiculously fun video games, and of course, the various LEGO Star Wars specials, the two fanbases have a natural overlap.

Thankfully, that ever growing group of fans continue to have a wealth of content to keep them going. The latest entry is LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy – Pieces of the Past, a sequel series to the highly popular 2024 LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy.

Much like the video games, what I love about the LEGO Star Wars series and films is that they offer low-stakes fun for all ages. No need to worry about canon or how they impact the larger universe, these stories can just be enjoyed with no stress and are often humorous and even exciting. The fact that Rebuild the Galaxy is getting a sequel series so quickly shows just how many fans loved the first season.

In advance of the sequel series release, Senior Writer Jorgie Rodriguez spoke with two of the returning voice cast and the creative team behind the show. Jorgie chatted with Gaten Matarazzo (the voice of Sig Greebling) and Tony Revolori (the voice of Dev Greebling), as well as writers and executive producers Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit.
