Marvel’s preschool series Marvel’s Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends is one of the most fun ways for fans of literally all ages to enjoy the superhero adventures of the Marvel universe. With bright colors, fun character designs and some genuinely entertaining (and educational) stories, I’ve personally enjoyed sharing that series with friends and family members.
The preschool Marvel animated universe expands with Marvel’s Iron Man and His Awesome Friends, which premieres Monday, August 11th on Disney Jr. (8:30 a.m. ET/PT) and later that day on Disney Channel. The first 10 episodes will also become available on Disney+ in the U.S. and select international markets and Disney Jr. On Demand the following day, Tuesday, August 12th.
I’m excited to share this exclusive clip from the upcoming show, which features a young Tony Stark (voiced by Mason Blomberg) and two of his very awesome friends, Sam Wilson – Captain America (voiced by Hero Hunter) and Riri Williams – Ironheart (voiced by Kapri Ladd).
In this clip, Riri Williams and Sam Wilson are showing what they can do in practice with Tony Stark. We see Riri armor up, fly through some obstacles and hit some floating targets in an impressive display of her skills. Wilson is up next, and the clip ends with a close-up of the character as he declares, “I’m Captain America!”
You will have to tune in starting Monday, August 11th to see how all the fun adventures play out. I definitely will be watching with my family.
What’s really exciting is that Iron Man’s “awesome friends” include a wonderfully diverse cast of characters, including Amadeus Cho as Hulk (voiced by Aidyn Ahn) and Cruz Flateau as T’Challa – Black Panther. Kids of all ages will have the chance to see themselves and their friends as the biggest and best heroes in this show.
Also part of the incredible voice cast are John Stamos as Tony’s father, Howard Stark, Lauren Tom as Helen Cho, Amadeus’ mom, Vanessa Bayer as Swarm, Talon Warburton as Absorbing Man and the always fantastic Tony Hale as the villainous Ultron.
Be sure to watch our exclusive clip above and check out some stills from the series below. Marvel’s Iron Man and His Awesome Friends premieres Monday, August 11th on Disney Jr. and Disney Channel, and Tuesday, August 12th on Disney+ and Disney Jr. On Demand.
About Marvel’s Iron Man and His Awesome Friends:
“Marvel’s Iron Man and his Awesome Friends” follows the adventures (and misadventures) of best friends and super geniuses — Tony Stark, Riri Williams and Amadeus Cho — as they work together to solve problems, both big and small, and protect their city. In order to help them save the day, the Iron Friends each have their own Iron Suits that allow them to fly and give them enhanced super-strength.
