‘Barbie’ Star Ryan Gosling sends Special Kenergy Video Message to BTS’ Jimin

Warner Bros. new film Barbie is already enjoying rave early reviews, including a sparkling 4.5 pocky rating by our own Jorgie. Today, star Ryan Gosling shared a pre-strike recorded message to Jimin of the superstar South Korean group BTS.

Noting that Jimin’s cowboy outfit in BTS’ “Permission to Dance” music video is the exact same as Gosling’s in Barbie, Gosling offered Ken’s guitar as a gift offering for their “Kenergy.”

It’s a small but ingenious bit of marketing that taps into the absolutely massive BTS and K-Pop fandom. Check out Gosling’s video below.

Barbie premieres July 21st!
