For those who have been to Disneyland Park’s Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge, you know that it genuinely feels like walking into one of the films or shows. It’s a completely immersive experience that transports you to the galaxy far, far away.

Yesterday, that magical experience was a little more special for the lucky guests who were at the park when The Acolyte star, Amandla Stenberg visited Galaxy’s Edge to celebrate her upcoming series.

The Disney parks, especially in Southern California, are known to have star visits on a fairly regular basis. But it’s really exciting to have Stenberg on site just a few weeks before the highly anticipated new series releases on Disney+.

Stenberg took some great photos in front of a newly added photo opportunity with numerous lightsabers in the background. I’ve had the chance to visit this exact location, and it’s an exceptionally cool spot. She also visited the marquee attraction, Rise of the Resistance at Galaxy’s Edge, which you can see based on all the First Order Stormtroopers behind her.

Check out the photos from the visit below:

In addition to Stenberg’s visit, Star Wars also released a new clip from the series, which features Stenberg’s Mae going one-on-one with Lee Jung-jae’s Master Sol. This clip is one of my favorite glimpses we’ve seen from the series, as it really shows the martial arts action that is expected to be a big part of the choreography. I also love how effortlessly powerful Lee’s Master Sol is in this scene. If what we see here is a good reflection of the series as a whole, The Acolyte is going to be absolutely amazing.

Star Wars The Acolyte premieres June 4th on Disney+.
